Tata Motors Increases Prices of Curve, Tiago, and Tigor Models

Buying the Tata Motors Curve Coupe SUV has now become costlier. The company has revised the prices of this model with immediate effect.

Selected variants of the Curve have seen a price hike of up to ₹13,000. Along with the Curve, Tata Motors has also updated the prices of its Tiago, Tiago NRG, and Tigor models.

However, the entry-level variant of the Curve still starts at ₹10 lakh, and its price remains unchanged.

Tata Curve: Features, Engine, and Specs

The Tata Curve is offered in four trims: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Achieve. It is now the 11th vehicle in the compact SUV segment.

The Curve is built on Tata Motors’ new Atlas platform and is different from the Curve EV.

Design-wise, the Curve has a front grille with vents to cool the engine and a uniquely designed air dam.

It also comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, which differ from those on the electric version that are designed for better aerodynamics and range.

Tata Motors launched the Curve SUV Coupe at an introductory starting price of ₹9.99 lakh, while the top-end model is priced at ₹19 lakh. This SUV has a 5-seater layout.

New Engine Option – Hyperion 1.2-litre Turbo Petrol

The Curve debuts Tata Motors’ new 1.2-litre GDi turbocharged petrol engine, named Hyperion, which produces 124 bhp and 225 Nm of torque.

It comes with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCA automatic gearbox. This engine is available starting from the Creative S trim, priced at ₹13.69 lakh.

Another engine variant on offer is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, also used in the Tata Nexon. It delivers 119 bhp and 170 Nm of torque

and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCA automatic transmission. Both automatic options come with paddle shifters for manual gear control.

Diesel Engine Option

The Tata Curve also offers a 1.5-litre Kyrotec diesel engine, producing 117 bhp and 260 Nm of torque.

It is available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Notably, the Tata Curve is the first SUV in its segment to offer a dual-clutch automatic transmission with a diesel engine. Paddle shifters are also provided in the diesel automatic variant.
