Air India has announced that it will suspend flights to three international destinations and reduce services on 16 global routes between June 21 and July 15, 2025.
This decision comes after the deadly plane crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, which caused major disruptions in operations.
The Tata Group-owned airline said that this move is meant to restore flight schedule stability and reduce last-minute trouble for passengers.
Changes Effective from June 21
Air India said in a statement that these changes will begin on June 21, 2025, and continue till at least July 15, 2025.
During this period, services on the following routes will be completely suspended:
Delhi–Nairobi
Amritsar–London (Gatwick)
Goa (Mopa)–London (Gatwick)
Additionally, flights will be reduced on 16 international routes covering North America, Europe, Australia, and the Far East.
A day before this announcement, Air India had also shared that it would temporarily cut 15% of flights operated by wide-body aircraft.

Longer flight durations caused by airspace restrictions in West Asia
Refunds and Passenger Support
The airline has apologized to all affected passengers and said it is personally contacting them to provide:
Alternate flight options
Free date changes
Full refunds, based on what the passenger prefers
Air India emphasized that these steps are being taken to ensure smoother operations and to minimize last-minute issues for travelers.
