Royal Enfield bikes are very popular not just in India, but around the world.
The British automakers are set to impress again with their new bike, the Royal Enfield Bear 650, which will be launched on November 5.
This bike will be showcased at the EICMA Motor Show in Milan, Italy. The company has already revealed some photos showing the style and design of the Bear 650.
Features of the Bear 650
The excitement for the Royal Enfield Bear 650 has been building for nearly two years. It will be available in five color options in the global market.
The Bear 650 is built on the same 650 cc platform as the Interceptor 650, sharing the same engine and chassis. However, it will have different suspension and wheels.
Design Details
The design of the Bear 650 is inspired by Scrambler bikes from the 1960s. It features 19-inch spoked wheels at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear.
The bike has a ground clearance of 184 mm and a seat length of 830 mm, which is the longest seat among all 650 cc models.
Engine Specifications
The Bear 650 is powered by a 648 cc oil and air-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine produces 47 bhp of power at 7,150 rpm and 56.5 Nm of torque at 5,150 rpm.
The bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox and has a wide handlebar, similar to scrambler bikes. It also features dual-channel ABS and a USB Type C charging port.
Expected Price
The price of the Royal Enfield Bear 650 will be announced during the launch. It is expected to have an ex-showroom price of around Rs 3.5 lakh.
Currently, there are no bikes in the market that can compete with the Bear 650.
