Honda Cars India has officially launched the 2026 Honda City Facelift in the Indian market.
The company has updated its popular midsize sedan with a fresh design, premium cabin upgrades, and several new technology features.
The new Honda City starts at ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with cars like the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
Honda is offering the sedan in multiple variants including SV, V, and VX, while the top-end hybrid model is expected to go up to ₹19 lakh.
Sportier Design With Premium Styling Updates
The 2026 Honda City now comes with a sharper and more modern look.
At the front, the car gets a new honeycomb grille, redesigned bumper, sleek LED headlamps, and connected LED DRLs.
These changes give the sedan a more premium and sporty road presence.
Honda has also updated the rear section with clear-lens taillamps and stylish 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
One of the biggest highlights is the new “Mafia Black” factory paint option, which adds a bold and premium touch to the sedan.
Cabin Gets Bigger Touchscreen and More Comfort Features
Inside the cabin, Honda has added several upgrades to improve comfort and technology.
The sedan now features a large 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system inspired by the Honda Elevate.
The cabin also gets new upholstery, improved material quality, and Secret Blue ambient lighting.
Comfort has also improved with ventilated front seats and the new Max Cool AC feature.
Honda continues to offer one of the most spacious rear seats in the segment, making the City a strong option for family buyers.

The updated Honda City now comes loaded with several premium features.

These features are available as standard across variants, which makes the car safer than before.
Engine and Mileage Details
The 2026 Honda City Facelift continues with the trusted 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.
The engine produces 121 PS power and 145 Nm torque.
Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.
Honda claims the manual version can deliver around 17.8 kmpl mileage, while the CVT variant may offer up to 18.4 kmpl.
The upcoming hybrid e:HEV version is expected to deliver an impressive mileage of around 24-27 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient sedans in the segment.
