Volkswagen India has introduced a special discount program for May 2026. Under this limited-time offer, buyers can get attractive benefits on selected models, including the premium Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line SUV and the luxury Volkswagen Virtus sedan.

The company is offering exchange bonuses, loyalty rewards, scrappage incentives, and service-related benefits. The biggest offer is available on the Tiguan R-Line, where customers can save up to ₹2 lakh.

Tiguan R-Line Gets Benefits Worth ₹2 Lakh

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line is priced at ₹47.11 lakh (ex-showroom). With the latest discount package, the effective price becomes lower by up to ₹2 lakh.

Even after the discount, the SUV continues to remain a premium imported offering from Volkswagen. It mainly targets buyers looking at SUVs such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and Hyundai Tucson.

Premium Design and Luxury Cabin

The new Tiguan R-Line comes with a sporty and modern design. At the front, it gets sleek LED headlamps connected by a glass-covered light strip. Volkswagen has also added a special ‘R’ badge to highlight its sporty identity.

The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and features stylish 3D LED tail lamps. Inside the cabin, buyers get a premium interior with ‘R’ badging on the seats and an illuminated ‘R’ logo on the dashboard.

The seats come with massage functions and adjustable lumbar support for extra comfort. Customizable ambient lighting also adds a luxury feel to the cabin.

Features and Engine Details

The SUV is packed with premium features, including:

15-inch infotainment touchscreen

Digital instrument cluster

Three-zone climate control

IDA voice assistant

Voice enhancer

Panoramic sunroof

Head-up display

For safety, Volkswagen has equipped the SUV with 21 Level-2 ADAS features, 9 airbags, and disc brakes on both front and rear wheels.

Globally, the Tiguan R-Line is available with petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. However, the India-spec model gets a 2.0-litre TSI EVO petrol engine.

The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. It produces 201bhp power and 320Nm peak torque.
