Vodafone has surprised users by cutting the validity of two major plans. The plans affected by the validity reduction include the Rs 666 and Rs 479 options.
It’s important to note that Vodafone reduced the validity of these plans in July 2024.
The company has made a similar decision again. This reduction in plan validity may come as a significant shock to users.
In Vodafone Idea’s Rs 479 plan, users previously received 56 days of validity, but now it has been reduced to 48 days.
Users will continue to get 1GB of daily data. This plan also includes unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day.
After the daily data limit is reached, the speed will drop to 64Kbps.
Validity of Rs 666 plan
Vodafone has also reduced the validity of the Rs 666 plan.
The validity of this plan has been reduced to 64 days, down from the previous 77 days.
However, the good news is that users will still receive the same benefits. Users will receive up to 1.5GB of data in this plan.
They will also have the option to roll over unused data. Additionally, the user experience will remain positive.
Users will encounter more issues
Reducing the validity of recharge plans will impact users financially. These were previously some of the most popular plans among customers.
This change could affect the company’s overall customer base.
In the future, the company may introduce special plans to attract users. It remains to be seen how much users rely on these plans.
