The new lineup includes 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch models. Sony will also launch a massive 98-inch version in June 2026.
Better Colors and Improved Picture Quality
The BRAVIA 7II series uses Sony’s True RGB technology with RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro. This technology controls red, green,
and blue LEDs separately, helping the TV produce more accurate colors, deeper blacks, and less blooming around bright objects.
Sony has also added RGB Triluminos Max with Luminance Booster for brighter visuals and richer colors. The TV offers smoother transitions between dark and bright scenes, making movies and shows look more natural.
The 65-inch and larger models come with X-Wide Angle Pro technology, which keeps colors and contrast balanced even when viewed from the side.
Powered by Cognitive Processor XR
The new TV series runs on Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR, which works similar to human vision and thinking to improve picture quality.
Key features include:
XR Contrast Booster for better brightness and contrast balance
XR Clear Image for noise reduction and near-4K upscaling
XR Motion Clarity for smoother action scenes and sports
The TV supports popular HDR formats like Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and IMAX Enhanced. It also includes special calibrated modes for Netflix, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core to show content the way creators intended.
Powerful Sound and Gaming Features
Sony has packed the BRAVIA 7II with up to 40W sound output. The TV supports Dolby Atmos and DTS audio technologies for a more immersive sound experience.
Voice Zoom 3 with AI improves dialogue clarity, making voices easier to hear during movies and shows. The 65-inch and larger models also include Acoustic Multi-Audio+ technology, which matches sound with on-screen action.
For gamers, the TV supports 4K at 120fps through HDMI 2.1. It also includes VRR, ALLM, and Dolby Vision Gaming support.
Sony has added Game Menu 2, which offers features like:
Crosshair settings
Black Equalizer
Motion Blur Control
The TV also works well with PS5 features such as Auto HDR Tone Mapping, Auto Genre Picture Mode, and PS Remote Play.
Smart Features and Design
The BRAVIA 7II runs on Google TV, giving users access to more than 400,000 movies, shows, apps, and games.
It supports:
Google Assistant
Hands-free voice search
Chromecast
Apple AirPlay 2
Apple HomeKit
Alexa devices
Sony will also release an update that integrates Google TV with Gemini AI for smarter recommendations and interactions.
The TV follows Sony’s Harmonic Presence design language with an immersive frame design. Models from 55-inch to 85-inch use the Mirage Stand, while the 98-inch version comes with a T-shaped stand.
Sony has also included X-Protection PRO to protect the TV from dust, moisture, lightning, and power surges. Eco Dashboard 2 helps users monitor energy usage.
