Reliance Jio launches affordable 4G Phone ‘Jio Bharat V2’ at Rs 999

Reliance Jio has recently unveiled a new 4G phone called ‘Jio Bharat V2’ in India.

The company has set the price of this phone at an affordable Rs 999.

Jio aims to target approximately 250 million 2G customers in India who are currently using telecom services from companies like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea.

Notably, Jio operates exclusively on 4G and 5G networks.

The company has ambitious plans to onboard over 100 million customers with the introduction of its new phone, ‘Jio Bharat V2’.

Jio claims that ‘Jio Bharat V2’ is the most cost-effective internet-enabled phone available in the market.

In 2018, the company experienced tremendous success with the launch of the Jio phone, and it has similar expectations for ‘Jio Bharat V2’.

Key Features of Jio Bharat V2

According to Jio, its 4G phone weighs only 71 grams, making it extremely lightweight.

This device offers features like HD voice calling, FM radio, support for a 128 GB SD memory card,

a 4.5 cm TFT display, a 0.3-megapixel camera, a 1000mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a loudspeaker, and a torch.

Additionally, Jio customers using this phone will have access to Jio Cinema and the Jio-Saavn app. The phone also supports 22 Indian languages.

Recharge with Rs 123 and Get 14GB Data

To cater to Jio Bharat V2 users, the company has introduced an affordable recharge plan priced at Rs 123 with a validity of 28 days.

This plan offers 14GB of 4G data. Moreover, Jio has also introduced an annual plan for ‘Jio Bharat V2’ priced at Rs 1234.

Beta Trial of ‘Jio Bharat V2’ Starts on July 7

Jio has announced that the beta trial for ‘Jio Bharat V2’ will commence on July 7.

The company plans to expand the availability of ‘Jio Bharat V2’ to 6,500 tehsils (administrative subdivisions) across India.
