Redmi 17C 5G launched in India With 6000mAh Battery

Redmi 17C 5G has been launched in India as a new budget 5G smartphone. The phone comes with a large 6.9-inch display, up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6,000mAh battery.

The Redmi 17C 5G is the second model in the series after the Redmi 17 5G. The Indian version has the same design and specifications as the global model, while its price and sale date have now been announced.

Redmi 17C 5G Price and Sale Date

The phone has been launched in two RAM and storage configurations in India. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs ₹20,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹22,999.

The Redmi 17C 5G will go on sale from October 7. Buyers will be able to purchase the smartphone through Amazon and Xiaomi’s online store.

Redmi 17C 5G Gets 120Hz Display

The smartphone features a 6.9-inch display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The international version comes with an IPS LCD panel offering a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and up to 810 nits of brightness in high-brightness mode.

The display has a waterdrop notch and is designed for a large-screen viewing experience. The phone also supports Wet Touch technology, which allows the touchscreen to work even when the user’s fingers are slightly wet.

6000mAh Battery and 33W Charging

The 6,000mAh battery is one of the major features of the Redmi 17C 5G. According to the company, the battery can provide up to 105 hours of music playback.

The phone supports 33W fast charging. Xiaomi says the battery can reach up to 80% charge in around 90 minutes.

Camera and Performance Features

For photography, the phone comes with a 50-megapixel AI dual rear camera system. Camera features include portrait mode, HDR and selfie beauty options.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. The Indian information provided for the phone mentions 8GB of RAM, while the announced sale configurations include 4GB and 6GB RAM variants.

The Redmi 17C 5G runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and also supports Google’s Circle to Search feature. The phone has an IP64 rating, adding protection against dust and water splashes.
