Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced the new Jawa 42 FJ, starting at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

and deliveries will start soon. In the Indian market, it will compete with models like the Royal Enfield Huntak 350 and Honda CB350.

Features and Specifications

The Jawa 42 FJ is equipped with a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 21.45 bhp and 29.62 Nm of torque.

It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. Mileage figures have not yet been disclosed but will be revealed in upcoming reviews.

Design and Styling

The Jawa 42 FJ sports a modern retro design with a tear-shaped fuel tank featuring an aluminum plate on the side. Its side panels and fenders are similar to other Jawa 42 models.

The motorcycle also includes multi-spoke alloy wheels, a black-out engine, and an upswept exhaust pipe for a sporty appearance.

Wire-spoke wheels are available on the base model. It is offered in five color options.

Additional Features

The bike includes LED lights, a USB charging port, and a single-pod digital instrument cluster. It uses a steel chassis supported by a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers.

For braking, it has a 320mm disc brake at the front and a disc brake at the rear, along with standard dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
