Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 Select variant in the Indian market.
This new variant is available in both petrol and diesel engine options, starting at a price of Rs 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bookings for this SUV have begun, and deliveries are expected to commence soon.

Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 Select Price
The price of the Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 Select varies based on the engine and gearbox options.
For the petrol version, the MT variant is priced at Rs 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and the AT variant at Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The diesel MT model costs Rs 17.49 lakh, while the AT model is priced at Rs 19.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
Compared to the AX3 variant, the AX5 S variant is approximately Rs 50,000 more expensive.
Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 Select Features
The AX5 Select variant sits between the AX3 and AX5 variants and comes with several additional features.
It is only available with a seven-seat layout and includes a panoramic sunroof, push-button start/stop, and a 10.25-inch screen for infotainment and the instrument cluster.
Other features include built-in Amazon Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, six speakers, LED DRLs, and a map lamp for the second row.
Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions.
The 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine produces 185hp and 420Nm (450Nm with AT),
while the 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine delivers 200hp of power and 380Nm of torque.
