Jio and Airtel announced last month that they would increase the prices of their recharge plans. These changes have come into effect today, July 3.
Users will now need to pay more to recharge their plans. Jio has increased the prices of a total of 19 plans, including prepaid, top-up,
and postpaid plans. For example, Jio’s cheapest prepaid plan, which was previously priced at Rs 155, is now Rs 189.
Airtel’s 28-day plan, which was earlier available for Rs 179, will now cost Rs 199. Vodafone India’s increased prices will be implemented starting tomorrow, July 4.
Detailed Jio Plan Price Increases
Cheapest Plan: The plan that was available for Rs 155 is now Rs 189, offering 2GB data for 28 days.
Mid-Range Plans: The Rs 479 plan now costs Rs 579, providing 1.5GB data daily for 56 days.
The Rs 666 plan is now Rs 799, offering 1.5GB data daily. The Rs 999 plan has increased to Rs 1199, with 3GB data daily.
Long-Term Plans: The 336-day plan, previously priced at Rs 1559, is now Rs 1899, offering 24GB data daily. The one-year plan that was Rs 2999 is now Rs 3599, providing 2.5GB data daily.
Airtel Increases Prices for Recharge Plans
Cheapest Plan: The Rs 179 plan is now Rs 199, offering 2GB data daily for 28 days.
Mid-Range Plans: The 84-day plan, previously Rs 455, now costs Rs 509. The Rs 479 plan is now Rs 579, offering 1.5GB data daily for 56 days. The 84-day plan, which was Rs 719, has increased to Rs 859.
One-Year Plan: The one-year plan that was priced at Rs 1799 is now Rs 3599, providing 2GB data daily.
