Google Cloud has introduced two new AI tools designed for professionals instead of general users.

Called Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services and Gemini Enterprise for Legal, these AI platforms are built specifically for banks, financial institutions, and law firms.

Unlike regular AI chatbots, these tools connect directly to the software companies already use. They can access internal data, provide source-backed answers,

and follow strict security and compliance rules. This helps professionals work faster while reducing the risk of mistakes.

Some of the early users include Deutsche Bank, CME Group, BNY, Citi Wealth, Lloyds Banking Group, Macquarie Bank,

and major law firms such as Cleary Gottlieb, Freshfields, Weil, and Williams & Connolly.

What Makes These AI Tools Different?

These new products are based on Google’s Gemini Enterprise platform but are customized for specific industries.

Instead of offering general AI responses, they include ready-made skills, industry-specific data connections, AI agents, and built-in compliance features.

This means the AI understands the needs of financial and legal professionals much better than a standard chatbot.

Google says businesses need AI that works with their existing systems while keeping company data secure.

Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services

The financial version includes a Financial Research Agent that helps analysts and banking teams complete research more quickly.

Every answer comes with:

A confidence score

Source citations

Details of how the answer was created

A snapshot of the data used

This makes it easier for financial professionals to verify information before making important decisions.

The platform also offers more than 50 AI skills for tasks such as:

Credit risk analysis

Portfolio monitoring

Market research

Financial news summaries

Investment research

It also connects with 13 major financial data providers, including FactSet, Moody’s, MSCI, S&P Global, PitchBook, LSEG, SEC Edgar, and Dun & Bradstreet.

Google says these integrations help AI deliver accurate answers using licensed financial data instead of relying only on its own training.

Gemini Enterprise for Legal

The legal version is built for lawyers and legal teams.

It can help with:

Contract review

Comparing contracts with company playbooks

Legal research

NDA drafting

Regulatory monitoring

GDPR data requests (DSAR)

Preparing court documents

The AI also detects sensitive information that should be removed before legal documents are filed.

To make adoption easier, Google has connected the platform with popular legal software such as iManage, NetDocuments, DocuSign, Everlaw, RelativityOne, Thomson Reuters HighQ, and other legal AI tools.

How Businesses Will Use It

Companies first activate the platform inside their Google Cloud account.

They then connect it to their existing software and databases using built-in connectors.

The AI follows the same permissions already set by the organization, so employees can only access information they are already authorized to see.

Once connected, users can simply ask the AI to perform tasks like checking a company’s credit risk or reviewing a contract. Every result includes supporting sources, making it easier to verify the information.

Organizations can also build their own custom AI agents for specific business needs.

How Much Does It Cost?

Both industry-specific versions are currently available in preview, and Google has not announced public pricing.

However, the base Gemini Enterprise plans currently start at approximately:

Gemini Business: Around $21 per user/month

Enterprise Standard: Around $30 per user/month

Enterprise Plus: Around $50–60 per user/month

Enterprise Frontline: Lower usage-based pricing for occasional users

Businesses using custom AI agents may also pay additional charges based on AI usage, computing power, and storage.

Availability in India

Google launched both solutions in preview on August 25, 2026.

Although the first users are mainly international banks and law firms, the Gemini Enterprise platform is already available in India.

Many of the legal software integrations are also commonly used by large Indian law firms.

Google says more industry-specific versions for sectors like healthcare and life sciences will be introduced in the future.
