Since Jio, Airtel, and VI raised recharge plan prices, BSNL has become much more active.
BSNL sees this as a unique opportunity and is focused on enhancing its services nationwide.
In this context, recent news reports that BSNL has activated 15,000 new 4G towers nationwide.
BSNL has installed more than 15 thousand 4G towers
This government telecom company in India is installing 4G towers nationwide to provide fast and affordable connectivity.
In this effort, BSNL has installed 4G towers at over 15,000 mobile sites across India.
BSNL shared this information on its social media, stating that they have established 15,000 new 4G sites across the country under the Atmanirbhar Bharat program.

Additionally, the company has started testing its BSNL 5G service in the country.
These actions are part of BSNL’s efforts to compete with private telecom companies.
In July, Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone-Idea raised their prepaid and postpaid recharge plan prices by 20-25%, which greatly disappointed users due to the significant increase in their recharge costs.
BSNL took advantage of the opportunity
During this period, BSNL launched an extensive advertising campaign and attracted customers with affordable recharge plans.
This strategy was successful, leading to lakhs of new customers joining within a month.
Noticing the growing interest in BSNL among Indian telecom users, the company has sped up efforts to enhance its services nationwide and acquire more new customers.
In this context, BSNL has begun preparing to launch its 5G service in India and is also rapidly expanding its 4G service.
India’s Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently announced that PM Modi has recommended using Made in India equipment to extend BSNL’s 4G service nationwide.
