Mercedes Launches GLS Facelift in India at ₹1.32 Crore

In a grand start to the new year, German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes has introduced the GLS Facelift in India.

The new model boasts a revamped interior inspired by the opulence of GLS Maybach, catering to discerning customers with both petrol and diesel variants.

Mercedes, known for its commitment to innovation and excellence, has also outlined an ambitious plan for the entire year 2024, promising to launch 12 new models and invest Rs 200 crore.

Inside the GLS Facelift, passengers are treated to a digital cockpit, a testament to the vehicle’s technological prowess.

The car features 64 ambient lights, a spacious sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 5-zone climate control system.

In terms of powertrain, the GLS 450 (Petrol) is equipped with a 2.9 cc 6-cylinder petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 280 kW and torque of 500 nM.

With a top speed of 250 kmph and acceleration from 0-100 km in just 6.1 seconds, this variant is a performance powerhouse.

The petrol model comes with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

The diesel variant features a 6-cylinder 2.9 cc engine, generating a maximum power of 270 kW and torque of 750 nM.

With similar top speed and acceleration figures, it promises a thrilling driving experience.

Mercedes offers the GLS Facelift at a starting price of ₹1.32 Crore for the petrol variant and ₹1.37 Crore for the diesel variant, providing a luxurious driving experience for those with discerning tastes.
