New phones launching in India include models from Lava, Realme, OnePlus and Mivi, with four smartphones scheduled to arrive between September 21 and September 24.
The upcoming devices bring features such as curved AMOLED displays, large batteries, high-resolution cameras and special-edition designs.
Here is what is known about the Lava Viraat Curve, Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, OnePlus N6 Lite 5G and Mivi One 5G.
Lava Viraat Curve Launch and Features
The Lava Viraat Curve will launch in India on September 21 at 12 noon. It will be available through Flipkart in Heritage Indigo and Makrana Ivory colour options.
The phone will feature curved front and rear panels, with a vegan leather finish on the back. Its rear camera module will include a secondary mini display that can show the Lava logo, battery status, volume level, emojis, time, custom messages and notifications.
The smartphone will feature a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It will run Android 16 and is set to receive two years of OS upgrades and three security updates.
The Lava Viraat Curve will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 octa-core chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will have a 50-megapixel main rear camera and a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition Launch
The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition will also launch on September 21 at 12 noon. A Flipkart microsite for the phone is already live.
The smartphone will feature a brown leather-style finish with an argyle texture on the rear panel. Its camera design is inspired by Hedwig, with the lenses designed to resemble owl eyes.
Realme will offer a limited-edition Hogwarts-themed gifting box with the phone. Only 5,000 units of the box will be available, with the package designed like Harry Potter’s trunk and containing Hogwarts-themed merchandise.
The expected specifications include an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits. The phone is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and reverse charging.
The camera setup is expected to include a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel front camera. Realme has not yet revealed the complete specifications of the special edition.
OnePlus N6 Lite 5G Brings 7000mAh Battery
The OnePlus N6 Lite 5G is scheduled to launch in India on September 22 at 12 PM ET. It will be offered in Midnight Hype and Neo Green colours through the OnePlus India online store and Amazon.
The smartphone will feature a 7,000mAh battery. OnePlus claims it can provide up to three days of battery life on a single charge, along with up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation or 49.7 hours of calling time.
The phone will support reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other devices. OnePlus also claims that the battery can retain more than 80% of its original capacity after six years of use and has been tested for 1,600 charge cycles.
The device will feature a 6.75-inch flat display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its Aqua Touch feature is designed to allow operation with wet or damp fingers. The phone is also claimed to offer MIL-STD-810H durability.
Mivi One 5G Launches on September 24
The Mivi One 5G will launch in India on September 24. The company has confirmed 128GB storage and a Snapdragon chipset, while the phone’s dual rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
The smartphone will be available in Blue, Green and Purple colour options. Mivi will also provide its Mivi Care+ after-sales programme free of charge to customers who purchase the phone.
With these four launches scheduled within a few days, buyers will have several new smartphone options to consider across different designs, battery capacities and feature sets.
