The next PM-KISAN payment is now on the minds of millions of farmers.

But before waiting for the 24th installment, there are a few important things beneficiaries should check.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 every year from the government.

The money is paid directly into their bank accounts in three installments of ₹2,000 each.

The 23rd installment was released on June 20, 2026, and farmers are now waiting for the next installment.

Check Your PM-KISAN Status Before the Next Installment

Farmers should check their PM-KISAN details in advance.

A small issue in the records could create problems with receiving the payment.

To check the status, visit the official PM-KISAN portal and select the “Know Your Status” option.

You can then enter your registration number and captcha to see your details.

The portal can show important information such as your payment status, bank name, UTR number and account credit details.

e-KYC Is Mandatory for PM-KISAN

One of the most important things farmers should check is their e-KYC status.

According to the PM-KISAN portal, completing e-KYC is mandatory for registered beneficiaries.

Farmers who have not completed it should do so as soon as possible.

A biometric-based e-KYC option is also available for farmers.

Don’t Ignore Bank and Land Record Issues

Apart from e-KYC, farmers should also check whether their bank account and land records are correct and properly verified.

If any information is incorrect or verification is still pending, it is better to get it corrected before the next installment is processed.

A quick check now could help avoid payment-related problems later.
