In the evening, visitors can explore the local markets of Leh.

On the second day, the tour covers popular attractions such as Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the Indian Army.

Travelers will also visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and the famous Magnetic Hill in Sham Valley.

The third day takes you to Nubra Valley, where you’ll visit Diskit and Hunder villages.

Those interested can also enjoy a camel ride at their own expense.

The fourth day is dedicated to Turtuk Village, one of the northernmost villages in India, known for its unique culture, traditions and scenic beauty.

On the fifth day, you’ll visit the world-famous Pangong Lake, a stunning 120-kilometre-long saltwater lake that became widely popular after being featured in the movie 3 Idiots.

Important Things to Know Before Visiting Ladakh

Ladakh is located at a very high altitude, where oxygen levels are lower than in most parts of India.

Because of this, the first day of the tour is kept free for rest and acclimatization to reduce the risk of altitude sickness.

Before your trip, consult your doctor if you need medication for high-altitude travel.

Drink plenty of water and electrolytes, avoid alcohol and overeating, and stay well hydrated throughout the journey.

Travelers should also know that camps in Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake have limited electricity, and hot water is usually available through solar heating or bucket service.

Mobile networks, Wi-Fi, ATMs, banks and petrol pumps are not available in Pangong, so carry enough cash, medicines and other essential items before reaching the area.

If you choose a triple-sharing room, the third guest will be provided with an extra mattress instead of a separate bed.

This IRCTC package is a convenient option for anyone looking to explore Ladakh’s most famous attractions without worrying about travel arrangements, making it an ideal choice for families, couples and solo travelers alike.
