Passengers travelling between Hyderabad and West Bengal have another reason to celebrate.
To meet the rising travel demand, South Central Railway has extended the Charlapalli–Shalimar Weekly Special Train service until September 2026.
The extension will provide more seats and additional travel options for passengers travelling between Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.
16 Special Train Services to Run
The railway has announced eight additional trips in each direction, taking the total to 16 special train services.
Here is the revised schedule:

The Charlapalli–Shalimar Special (Train No. 08046) will depart every Saturday, while the return service from Shalimar (Train No. 08045) will run every Friday during the extended period.
