A new report suggests that several older Vivo and iQOO devices are unlikely to receive the Android 17-based update.
The list is based on the company’s current software update policy, although Vivo has not officially confirmed it yet.
In China, Vivo is expected to launch OriginOS 7 based on Android 17, while most global users will receive the new version through Funtouch OS.
Although the company has not released an official list of supported devices, the current update policy gives a good idea of which phones are expected to miss the upgrade.

These smartphones have already received the software updates promised under Vivo’s update policy. Because of this, the chances of them getting another major Android version are considered very low.
iQOO Phones That Are Also Expected to Miss the Update
The report also includes several popular iQOO smartphones that are not expected to receive Android 17. These devices are:

If your phone is on this list, it will likely continue receiving important security updates, but it may not get the major Android 17 operating system upgrade.
Which Vivo and iQOO Phones Could Get Android 17?
According to the report, several newer Vivo smartphones are expected to be eligible for Android 17. These include multiple models from the Vivo X200, Vivo X300, Vivo V40, Vivo V50, Vivo V60, and Vivo V70 series.
On the iQOO side, several smartphones from the iQOO 12, iQOO 13, iQOO 15, Neo 10, Neo 10R, and Z10 series are also expected to receive the Android 17 update.
However, Vivo has not yet announced the final list of supported devices. The company may make changes before officially rolling out the Android 17 update.
