Planning to buy a home in Delhi? Here’s some good news.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the registration deadline for its Citizen Housing Scheme by one month, giving homebuyers more time to apply.

The scheme offers flats at affordable prices for people from different income groups.

Adding to the benefit, DDA is also offering a 25% discount on bookings, making it an attractive opportunity for eligible buyers.

Who Can Apply Under the DDA Citizen Housing Scheme?

The Citizen Housing Scheme is open to applicants from different income categories, including:

High-Income Group (HIG)

Middle-Income Group (MIG)

Low-Income Group (LIG)

Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

The flats are being allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

This means eligible applicants who complete the process early have a better chance of getting a flat.

Flats Available in Narela and Siraspur

The scheme was launched on January 23 to provide affordable housing in Narela and Siraspur.

DDA is offering a total of 3,245 flats in Narela, including 1,944 flats that were added in March.

In addition, 411 LIG flats are available in Siraspur.

Interested buyers can register through DDA’s housing portal.

Registration Deadline Extended

The booking period under the scheme has now been extended until July 31, giving applicants extra time to complete the registration process.

To apply, applicants must pay a one-time registration fee of ₹2,500 through the DDA Housing Portal.

Booking Amount for Different Categories

Applicants are required to pay the following booking amounts based on the category of flat:

HIG Flats: ₹10 lakh

MIG Flats: ₹4 lakh

LIG Flats: ₹1 lakh

EWS Flats: ₹50,000

Those interested in buying a DDA flat should complete the registration process before the extended deadline to take advantage of the discount and the first-come, first-served allotment process.
