The state government has started a special data correction campaign to make it easier for eligible people to get their Ayushman cards without any delays.

The campaign aims to fix errors in beneficiary records so that people can receive the benefits of the health scheme without facing unnecessary problems.

Why Has This Campaign Been Started?

After the Ayushman Bharat scheme was launched, officials found that many beneficiary records contained mistakes.

These included incorrect names, addresses, family details, and other personal information.

To resolve these issues, the State Health Agency (SHA) has launched a statewide data correction drive.

The goal is to ensure that all beneficiary records are accurate, making the Ayushman card issuance process faster and smoother.

Data Correction Will Be Done Online

According to Archana Verma, Chief Executive Officer of SACHIS, the campaign is designed to create an error-free database and simplify the card generation process.

For this purpose, the government has developed the Beneficiary Data Management Portal, where all correction requests will be processed online.

Beneficiaries can also use the Ayushman App to update their information after logging in and selecting the “Update” option.

How to Apply for Data Correction

Concerned Medical Officer

Your documents will be verified, and the correction request will then be uploaded to the online portal by the concerned officials.

What Happens After You Submit the Request?

Once the correction proposal is uploaded, it will go through several stages of verification.

First, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the concerned district will review the request.

It will then be forwarded to the state authorities and finally sent to the National Health Authority (NHA) for approval.

After the final approval is granted, the beneficiary’s records will be updated in the system.
