Akasa Air has announced its expansion into Rajasthan with the launch of direct flights to Udaipur from Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The new daily non-stop services will begin on October 15, 2026, and bookings are already open through the airline’s official website, mobile app, travel agents, and online booking platforms.
With this addition, Udaipur becomes a key part of Akasa Air’s growing domestic network, especially in the tourism segment.
Direct Flights to Boost Travel to Udaipur
Udaipur, known for its lakes, palaces, luxury hotels, and destination weddings, has seen rising demand from travellers across major Indian cities.
To meet this demand, Akasa Air will now offer direct connectivity from both Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The airline aims to make travel easier by removing stopovers and providing daily non-stop options for passengers.
This move is expected to further strengthen tourism and leisure travel to one of India’s most popular destinations.

Akasa Air will operate four daily non-stop flights between Udaipur, Mumbai, and Bengaluru from October 15, 2026.

Akasa Air’s Strategy and Recent Growth
According to Akasa Air Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Anand Srinivasan, Udaipur represents strong potential due to its cultural heritage and growing tourism demand.
He said the airline is focused on building a customer-friendly network aligned with changing travel needs.
The announcement comes shortly after Akasa Air reported strong performance for FY2025–26.
The airline recorded a 37% rise in operating revenue and expanded its fleet to 37 aircraft after adding 10 Boeing 737 MAX planes during the year.
It now operates across 26 domestic and 6 international destinations, maintaining an average passenger load factor of around 88%.
With the addition of Udaipur, Akasa Air continues to expand its presence in India’s fast-growing leisure travel market.
