HMD Global has launched its new budget-friendly smartphone, the HMD Vibe 2 5G, in India. The company, once known for making Nokia phones, is now focusing on building its own smartphone brand in the Indian market.
The new phone comes with 5G support, a large battery, a 120Hz display, and Android 16. Its starting price is just ₹10,999, making it one of the affordable 5G options currently available.
HMD Vibe 2 5G Price and Sale Offers
The HMD Vibe 2 5G has been launched in two storage variants:
4GB RAM + 64GB storage – ₹10,999
4GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹11,999
The smartphone is available in three color options:

Peach Pink
Cosmic Lavender
During the first sale starting on May 26, buyers can get a ₹1,500 instant discount. This offer will work with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI cards, and UPI payments.
After the discount, the phone can be purchased for as low as ₹9,499.
Reports also suggest that the company may soon launch a 6GB RAM variant in India.

The HMD Vibe 2 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixel resolution. It uses an IPS LCD panel and comes with a waterdrop-style notch design.
The phone supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps provide smoother scrolling and gaming performance. It also includes 2D glass protection on the screen.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T8200 processor, an octa-core chipset built on a 6nm process. The processor runs at speeds between 2.1GHz and 2.3GHz.
The smartphone runs on Android 16 and currently comes with up to 4GB RAM in India.
