If you are planning to buy a new SUV this month, this could be the right time to bring home the Mahindra Scorpio N or Mahindra Scorpio Classic.
Mahindra & Mahindra is offering attractive discounts on both Scorpio models in May, with total benefits going up to ₹50,000.
The biggest discount is available on the Scorpio Classic. Buyers can get a cash discount of ₹20,000 along with accessories worth ₹30,000.
On the other hand, the Scorpio N Z4 variant is getting a cash discount of ₹30,000, while the Z8 variant comes with a ₹20,000 cash benefit.
The ex-showroom price of the Scorpio Classic starts from ₹13 lakh and goes up to ₹17 lakh. Meanwhile, the Scorpio N is priced between ₹13.49 lakh and ₹24.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Scorpio N Gets Powerful Engine Options
The Scorpio N comes with strong petrol and diesel engine choices. It is expected to use the same engines that power the Mahindra Thar and Mahindra XUV700.
The SUV gets a 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both engine options can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The top variants of the Scorpio N may also come with a 4WD (four-wheel drive) system, making the SUV more capable on rough roads and off-road tracks.
Another major highlight is safety. The Scorpio N received a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests.
Bold Design With Premium Features
The Scorpio N comes with a fresh and more premium design. At the front, the SUV gets a chrome-finished grille with Mahindra’s new logo.
It also features LED projector headlamps, C-shaped LED DRLs, redesigned fog lamp housings, and a large air inlet for a stronger road presence.
The SUV also gets stylish two-tone alloy wheels, chrome door handles, chrome window lining, roof rails, and new vertical LED tail lamps. Mahindra has also added an engine start-stop button for added convenience.
Cabin Packed With Modern Technology
Inside the cabin, the Scorpio N offers several premium features. It gets a redesigned dashboard and centre console along with semi-digital instrument display and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
Other features include leather seats, adjustable headrests, roof-mounted speakers, wireless charging, and a touchscreen infotainment system placed at the centre of the dashboard.
For safety and comfort, the SUV offers a sunroof, six airbags, rear-view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), cruise control, and rear disc brakes.
