Ticket Booking Starts Online
Travel platforms like MakeMyTrip have already started showing the airport code “DXN” for Noida International Airport.
Earlier, users could see the airport code, but flight searches were unavailable.
Now, booking-related information has started appearing online as the airport prepares for commercial operations.
Only IndiGo Flights Initially
In the beginning, only IndiGo Airlines will operate from Noida International Airport.
According to Yamuna International Airport Limited (YAPL), operations received a major boost after the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security approved the airport’s security plan.
Other airlines like Akasa Air and Air India Express are expected to join later.
A proposal to start flights to 17 cities has also been approved recently during a YAPL board meeting.

The first phase of Noida International Airport has been developed across 1,334 hectares.
It includes:
A 3,900-meter runway

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the project on March 28, and preparations are now in full swing for passenger and cargo operations.
Bus Services Will Start From Day One
Passengers travelling to and from the airport will also get bus connectivity from the very first day.
State transport corporations have already finalised multiple routes connecting the airport with:
Uttar Pradesh
Delhi
Haryana
Uttarakhand
This is expected to improve travel access for passengers from nearby states.
Noida Airport Could Become Asia’s Largest
Officials say Noida International Airport is being planned on nearly 52 square kilometres of land.
The airport will eventually have five runways, with space for a possible sixth runway in the future.
Once fully completed, it could become:
Asia’s largest airport by area
The sixth-largest airport in the world
At present, Beijing Daxing International Airport in China is considered Asia’s largest airport, spread across around 47 square kilometres.
