Tata Motors has launched its new electric coupe SUV, the Tata Curvv.ev SeriesX, in India. This new lineup comes with stylish design, strong performance, and modern features aimed at everyday users.
The company has introduced two main variants — Accomplished X 55 and Empowered X 55. The starting price is ₹16.99 lakh, while the top variant goes up to ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
There is also a special Empowered X Dark Edition priced at ₹19.49 lakh.
Powerful Performance with Long Range
The Curvv.ev SeriesX is powered by a 55 kWh battery pack. It delivers 167 horsepower and 215 Nm of torque, making it strong enough for both city drives and highway trips.
According to ARAI claims, the EV offers a driving range of up to 502 km on a single charge. In real-world conditions, users can expect around 400 km, depending on driving style and conditions.
This makes it a practical option for daily commuting as well as longer journeys between cities.
Battery Warranty Brings Peace of Mind
One of the biggest highlights of this EV is its long battery warranty. Tata is offering a high-voltage battery warranty of up to 15 years for the first owner.
This adds a strong sense of reliability and reduces long-term ownership concerns, which is a major factor for EV buyers.
Comfort and Features in Accomplished X 55
The Accomplished X 55 variant focuses on comfort and essential modern features. It includes a panoramic sunroof, dual digital displays, and support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
For safety and convenience, it also offers a 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitoring. Additional comfort features include ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery, and a rear sunshade.
Empowered X 55 Offers a Premium Experience
The top variant, Empowered X 55, takes things further with more premium features. It comes with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a JBL 9-speaker sound system for a better audio experience.
It also includes a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, and reclining rear seats for added comfort.
On the safety side, it gets Level 2 ADAS features, making it one of the more advanced options in its segment.
Tata Safari EV Coming Soon
Tata Safari EV is expected to launch later this year, possibly during the festive season. Testing for this electric SUV is almost complete.
This will be Tata’s first three-row electric SUV. The design is likely to remain similar to the current Safari, but with EV-specific updates like a closed grille, new alloy wheels, and updated interiors.
It is expected to come with larger battery options, possibly 65 kWh and 75 kWh, along with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants.
