Bajaj Auto has reintroduced its powerful bike, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, with a major update.

The company has now made the bike more affordable by changing its engine.

This update has reduced the overall price, making it a strong option for budget buyers who want a powerful sports bike.

Big Price Drop Makes It More Affordable

The ex-showroom price of the new Pulsar NS400Z is ₹1,80,092 (around ₹1.94 lakh).

Because of changes in engine size, registration, insurance, and taxes, customers can now save around ₹24,500 on the on-road price.

Earlier, the bike was more expensive due to a bigger engine and higher tax rates.

Why Did the Price Go Down?

The main reason for the price drop is the engine change.

The older model had a 373cc engine, which attracted higher GST.

Now, the bike comes with a 349cc engine.

Due to this smaller engine size, the tax rate has dropped to 18%, which directly reduced the final price.

Engine, Power and Performance

The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z now comes with a 349cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine.

It produces:

40.6 hp power

33.2 Nm torque

Even though the power is slightly lower than the older version, it still offers strong performance for highway and city riding.

The engine is closely related to the one used in the Bajaj Dominar 400.

Features Remain Fully Loaded

Bajaj has not cut down features despite the engine change.

The bike still offers a premium riding experience.

Bold Design and Styling

The bike comes with a muscular design, USD front forks, and wide tyres.

This gives it a proper sporty look.

Strong Safety Setup

It includes:

320 mm front disc brake

230 mm rear disc brake

Dual-channel ABS

Modern Technology

The bike is packed with features like:

Ride-by-wire system

4 riding modes

Quickshifter

Traction control

Smart Display and Comfort

It also gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

The 17-inch alloy wheels and monoshock rear suspension make it stable and comfortable on rough roads.

Final Takeaway

The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is now more affordable while still offering strong performance and premium features.
