Google Pixel 10a Specs Revealed ahead of Official Launch

The Google Pixel 10a is set to launch in India next week. Ahead of the launch, its full specifications have surfaced online.

A fresh leak has revealed key details about the upcoming budget Pixel phone.

The report suggests that the new model will bring minor upgrades instead of a major design overhaul. Let’s take a look at the leaked specifications and see how the Pixel 10a differs from its predecessor, the Google Pixel 9a.

According to Winfuture.de, the Pixel 10a will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2424×1080 pixels.

The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, offering better durability compared to older models. The overall design is said to remain largely similar to the previous generation.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor, along with the Titan M2 security chip.

It could come with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. There will be no microSD card support.

The device is tipped to pack a 5100mAh battery. It may support up to 45W wired fast charging and wireless charging support as well.

In terms of cameras, the Pixel 10a is expected to include a 48-megapixel primary camera with dual-pixel autofocus and optical image stabilisation (OIS).

It may also feature a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. For selfies and video calls, a 13-megapixel front camera is expected.

The Pixel 10a is likely to ship with Android 16 and receive up to seven years of software and security updates.

Pixel 10a vs Pixel 9a: Five Key Changes

Here are five major differences between the two models:

The Pixel 10a will feature Gorilla Glass 7i protection, while the Pixel 9a had Gorilla Glass 3.

The new model supports 45W wired charging, compared to 23W charging on the Pixel 9a.

Satellite emergency calling has been added in the Pixel 10a, which was not available on the Pixel 9a.

The Pixel 10a comes with Bluetooth 6 support, while the Pixel 9a supports Bluetooth 5.4.

New colour options include Obsidian, Fog, Lavender and Berry. The Pixel 9a was available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony.

In terms of dimensions, the Pixel 10a measures 153.9 x 73 x 9mm and weighs 183 grams. In comparison, the Pixel 9a measures 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9mm and weighs 186 grams.

Google Pixel 10a variants, price and launch timeline

Reports suggest that the Pixel 10a will be available in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.

The smartphone is expected to start at 499 euros (approximately Rs. 53,300). There may also be a promotional offer where the 256GB variant is initially available at the base model price instead of its regular 599 euros (approximately Rs. 64,000).

The device is expected to go on sale in multiple markets starting February 18.
