Renault India has shared important news with its customers ahead of the New Year. The company has announced that prices of all Renault cars will increase by up to 2% starting January 2026.

The price hike will depend on the model and variant.

According to Renault, this decision has been taken due to rising input costs, inflation, and ongoing macroeconomic challenges in the automobile industry.

However, customers who buy a Renault vehicle before the end of December 2025 will still be able to purchase cars at the current prices.

Company’s Official Statement

In its official statement, Renault India said that it remains committed to offering quality products and excellent service to Indian customers. The company added that it has always tried to keep prices affordable despite rising costs.

However, due to the current market conditions, a small price revision has become unavoidable.

Renault also mentioned that many other automobile companies such as Mercedes-Benz, MG Motor India, Nissan, and BMW Motorrad have already announced price increases ahead of the New Year.

Current Renault Models and Upcoming Duster

At present, Renault India is focusing on three main models: Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. The brand’s strategy is centered on affordable pricing, practical design, and features suitable for everyday use.

The Renault Kwid is the entry-level car, with a starting price of around ₹4.30 lakh.

Above it is the Renault Triber, priced at approximately ₹5.76 lakh.

The third model in the lineup is the Renault Kiger.

In addition to these models, Renault has also confirmed that it will bring back its popular SUV, the Renault Duster, next year, which is expected to attract a lot of attention from customers.
