With the festival season in full swing, Indian Railways has made special arrangements to handle the increased passenger traffic.
To ensure smooth travel during major festivals like Diwali and Chhath Puja, the railways are running special trains and adding extra coaches.
On October 26, 2025, a total of eight special trains will operate through Ajmer station.
Four of these will depart from Ajmer, while four others will stop at Ajmer before continuing to their destinations.
Additionally, 25 extra coaches are being attached to 22 other trains to provide more seats for passengers.
Arrangements for Passenger Safety and Convenience
The Divisional Railway Manager, Mr. Raju Bhutada, has emphasized special monitoring for safety, crowd management, and smooth operations during the festival.
Holding areas have been set up at Ajmer station to manage passenger entry and exit, preventing overcrowding.
Some of the special trains operating from Ajmer include:
Madar Junction–Rohtak Special: Departed at 4:30 am
Ajmer–Bandra Terminus Special: Departed at 6:35 am
Ajmer–Bhiwani Special: Departs at 5:30 pm
Sabarmati–Gorakhpur Special: Arrives 4:00 pm, Departs 4:10 pm
Barauni–Rajkot Special: Arrives 3:50 pm, Departs 4:00 pm
Gorakhpur–Sabarmati Special: Arrives 7:10 am, Departs 7:20 am
Sabarmati–Begusarai Special: Arrives 9:00 pm, Departs 9:15 pm
Udaipur–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Special: Arrives 4:35 pm, Departs 4:45 pm
War Room Established for Emergencies
To ensure quick response to passenger complaints and emergencies, the railways has set up a war room at the divisional office.
This will help tackle any issues during travel and ensure passengers face no inconvenience while traveling during the festive season.
