These tools automatically identify vehicles, classify them, and charge tolls digitally, ensuring smooth traffic flow at toll plazas.

Vinod Eswaran, CEO of Jio Payments Bank, said the company’s goal is to digitize every payment, expand infrastructure nationwide, and provide efficient financial and mobility services to citizens.

Expanding Toll Network Across India

Jio Payments Bank already manages 11 toll plazas across the country.

With the addition of Shahjahanpur and Manoharpura, the bank is now positioned to play a major role in India’s highway infrastructure.

The project is supported by Jio Platforms’ digital capabilities, ensuring seamless integration of technology for fast and reliable toll collection.

This move highlights Jio Payments Bank’s growing presence in digital payments and infrastructure while contributing to smoother, faster travel on Indian highways.
