EPFO WhatsApp Service Makes PF Updates Easier
The new WhatsApp channel is intended to make EPFO information more accessible to employees and pensioners.
Members can use the official channel to stay updated about important EPFO services and announcements.
EPFO has shared the facility as part of its efforts to provide members with easier access to information through digital platforms.
The organisation has also encouraged members to join its official WhatsApp channel for updates.
How to Join the EPFO WhatsApp Channel
Members can join the official EPFO WhatsApp channel through the link shared by the organisation or by scanning the QR code included in its announcement.
After joining the registered channel, members can receive important updates and information related to EPFO services.
Users should ensure they are accessing the official EPFO channel and avoid responding to suspicious messages claiming to offer PF services.
What PF Members Can Get on WhatsApp
The WhatsApp facility provides a convenient way for EPFO members to receive updates related to their PF accounts and other services.
The organisation has said that members can use the channel to get important information and the latest updates.
The service is aimed at employees and pensioners who want to keep track of EPFO-related developments without depending only on traditional communication channels.
The EPFO WhatsApp Service adds another digital channel alongside existing online facilities.
Members can continue using the official EPFO portal and other authorised digital services for account-related work.
EPFO Also Working on Easier PF Withdrawals
EPFO has also been working on making PF withdrawals more convenient.
Earlier, Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had provided an update on the proposed facility to withdraw PF money through UPI.
According to the reported update, testing for the UPI-based PF withdrawal facility had been completed, with the service expected to allow members to transfer eligible PF funds to their bank accounts through a UPI payment gateway.
The WhatsApp channel and proposed digital withdrawal facility are part of wider efforts to make PF-related services easier for members to access digitally.
