Prepaid users will receive unlimited calling on all networks and 2GB of high-speed data per day during the extension.

JioHome broadband users will also continue to enjoy their subscribed plan for 3 additional days, free of cost.

Postpaid users will get uninterrupted services for an extra 3 days as well.

Benefits for Airtel Users

Airtel has also extended relief for its customers in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh by providing a 3-day validity extension.

Prepaid users will get unlimited voice calls on all networks and 1GB of daily data during the extended period.

Postpaid and broadband users will receive an additional 3 days to pay their bills after their plan ends, ensuring services continue without disruption.

Government’s Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) Directive

To further improve connectivity, the central government has directed all telecom operators — Jio, Airtel, Vi,

and BSNL — to activate the Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) facility in Jammu and Kashmir by September 2.

With ICR, users of one telecom operator can use the mobile network of another operator to make calls, send messages,

and access the internet. Airtel has already activated this facility in the affected regions.
