Ola Electric launches S1 Pro Sport in India

Ola Electric launched its new flagship electric scooter, S1 Pro Sport, during the Sankalp program at its Tamil Nadu plant on August 15 evening.

The scooter is priced at ₹1,49,999 (ex-showroom), and bookings can be made by paying just ₹999. Deliveries are expected to start in January 2026.

This scooter has been introduced as a sport-focused variant in the S1 lineup. It comes with a 13 kW ferrite motor, which has been developed and manufactured by Ola itself.

Special highlights of the S1 Pro Sport include new styling, sport-tuned suspension,

and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) — the first time such technology has been offered in an electric scooter in India.

Design and Performance

The design of the S1 Pro Sport includes aerodynamically optimized bodywork, a small windscreen, carbon fiber front fender

and grab rail, and new comfortable seats with revised foam. The lighting is fully LED, with a new daytime running light for better visibility.

The scooter’s ferrite magnet motor delivers a peak output of 16 kW and 71 Nm torque, paired with a 5.2 kWh battery pack (4680 cells).

Ola claims a top speed of 152 km/h and 0–40 km/h acceleration in just 2 seconds. Its IDC range is 320 km.

For suspension, it has a telescopic front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, with disc brakes at both ends.

It rides on a 14-inch front alloy wheel with wide profile tyres. The scooter offers 34 litres of under-seat storage and has a seat height of 791 mm.

ADAS Package and Smart Features

The ADAS package in the S1 Pro Sport includes:

Collision warning

Blind spot alert

Adaptive cruise control

Traffic sign recognition

Speeding alert

Its front camera also works as a dashcam to record rides and theft-related incidents.

Voice assistant

Customizable display themes

Personalized ride analytics

Predictive maintenance alerts

Smart charging support
