Amazon has introduced a new feature in its Pay Rewards system just before Prime Day Sale 2025: the Rewards Gold Cashback Program.
Under this offer, Prime members can earn up to 5% cashback, while non-Prime users can get up to 3%.
The aim is to encourage customers to use Amazon Pay for bill payments, shopping, and recharges. Here’s everything you need to know:
How to Get Cashback?
To join the Rewards Gold program, users must complete at least 25 transactions using Amazon Pay. These can be UPI payments, bill payments, recharges, or shopping.
Once 25 transactions are completed, cashback starts on every eligible payment. Prime members will get up to 5% cashback, and non-Prime users will get up to 3%.
Where Will Cashback Be Available?
Amazon shared in a press release that cashback will apply on select products like groceries, clothing, travel, food delivery, Xbox, JioHotstar subscriptions, and OnePlus products.
In total, the program covers over 55,000 online and offline Amazon partners, including Ola, Zomato, and Domino’s.
Extra Perks for ICICI Card Users
Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card holders may also receive extra benefits under the Rewards Gold program.
Although the exact cashback amount and integration details aren’t confirmed yet, cardholders can expect some added rewards.
Why Is This Important for Prime Day?
The Prime Day Sale is happening from July 12 to 14. Shoppers can save more using this program during the sale.
If a Prime member completes 25 transactions before Prime Day, they can earn 5% cashback on big purchases made during the event.
When and Who Can Use It?
Amazon has already rolled out the program. Users can check their Amazon Pay history to see if they’ve reached Gold tier status.
