Through this, girls will receive job-oriented training to help them become self-reliant and improve their chances of getting good employment.

Who can benefit from this scheme?

Only those girls who have passed at least Class 10 and are between 16 to 18 years of age can benefit from this scheme.

This is especially helpful for girls who are just starting to think about their career after school.

Special 7-hour training module created

The government has created a special 7-hour training module for this scheme. It not only includes technical training but also covers communication skills, basic financial knowledge, workplace behavior,

and legal rights such as POSH and POCSO. This will prepare the girls for real work-life situations.

Application process yet to begin

The official application process for the scheme has not started yet. It is expected that applications may be taken through the websites of the Ministry of Women

and Child Development or the Ministry of Skill Development, or a new portal may be launched. Once the government shares the details, the process will begin.

What makes this scheme special?

This scheme is not just about providing training. It is also about changing the mindset. Even today, many people believe that girls should only do traditional jobs.

Navya Yojana is working to break that thinking, helping girls become anything—from graphic designers to drone technicians.
