Holidays Vary by State

Keep in mind that bank holidays are not the same in every state. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), each state has its own list of holidays.

This complete list is available on RBI’s official website and includes festival-specific holidays by state.

Even when banks are closed, customers can still use online banking services to complete most tasks. Nowadays, many banking services are available digitally.

So, you can manage your banking needs from home during holidays. However, if you have something that requires visiting the bank, it’s best to plan and finish it in advance.
