After a long wait, Volkswagen has officially launched the new Tiguan R-Line SUV in India. The car comes with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹50 lakh, which might change later.
This sporty SUV is built on the updated MQB Evo platform, giving it a fresh and modern foundation.
The Tiguan R-Line now has a sportier design and more features than before. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The car supports all-wheel drive and also features Pro Adaptive Suspension for better handling. This new-generation Tiguan comes with a sharp and stylish look.
Modern Interiors, Powerful Performance, and Top Safety
Inside, the Tiguan R-Line offers a sleek and modern cabin. It features a large 15.1-inch touchscreen and carries the look and feel of a high-performance SUV.
With the powerful 2.0-liter TSI engine, the Tiguan has become stronger than its previous versions. The vehicle is completely built outside India and imported into the country.
Customers can choose from six color options, including unique shades like Persimmon Red Metallic and Cipressino Green Metallic.
Bookings can be made through Volkswagen’s official website or at nearby dealerships. The Tiguan R-Line will be sold alongside the premium sporty SUV, the Golf GTI.
In terms of safety, the SUV is well-equipped with 9 airbags and ADAS Level 2 features.
It has also received a 5-star rating in the NCAP safety test, making it a secure and reliable choice for Indian buyers.
