Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, he arrived at Bageshwar Dham, where he offered prayers at the Balaji Temple.
Following this, he laid the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute (Cancer Hospital) in Chhatarpur.
This significant event was attended by Bageshwar Dham’s head, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
PM Modi Addresses a Public Gathering
After the inauguration, PM Modi addressed a public meeting. He expressed his happiness about visiting the land of heroes for the second time in a short period.
He highlighted that Bageshwar Dham, known as a center of faith, is now set to become a center of health as well.
The new cancer hospital, built at a cost of over ₹200 crore, will provide free treatment for cancer patients.
It will be equipped with modern medical facilities and specialist doctors to ensure the best care.
PM Modi on Religion and Faith
During his speech, PM Modi criticized a section of leaders who mock religion and Hindu beliefs.
He stated that some people disrespect temples, culture, and festivals, which hurts the faith of millions.
Referring to the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025, he said that the grand event is drawing lakhs of devotees who are taking a holy dip in Triveni and seeking blessings.
He emphasized that Maha Kumbh will remain a symbol of unity for future generations.
Dhirendra Shastri Praises PM Modi
Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham, expressed great appreciation for PM Modi.
He stated that India now has a Prime Minister who cares about soldiers, farmers, saints, and spiritual leaders.
He also remarked that earlier, there were temples inside hospitals, but now hospitals are being built inside temples, calling it a great blessing for Bundelkhand.
‘Balaji Has Called Me’ – PM Modi
PM Modi mentioned that he felt privileged to visit Bundelkhand twice in a short time. He said that this time, he received a direct invitation from Balaji.
With Hanumanji’s blessings, the faith center is transforming into a healthcare hub.
He congratulated Dhirendra Shastri and the people of Bundelkhand for this remarkable initiative.
