Ola Launches ‘Roadster Series’ Electric Bikes with Up to 579 KM Range

Ola Electric has introduced its highly anticipated ‘Roadster Series’ electric motorcycles at a special event. The new series features three models with impressive ranges, advanced technology, and sleek designs.

Roadster X: Entry-Level Excellence

The Roadster X is positioned as an entry-level model with a maximum motor output of 11 kW, making it the fastest in its segment.

It offers battery options of 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh, with the top variant providing a range of 200 km on a full charge.

The motorcycle accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 124 kmph.

It includes features such as Combi Braking System (CBS), advanced Brake by Wire technology, multiple riding modes, and connectivity via the Ola Electric app.

Roadster and Roadster Pro: Advanced Features and High Performance

The Roadster model is notable for its exceptional performance with a 13 kWh motor and a range of 248 km. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in just 2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 126 kmph.

This model features a 6.8-inch TFT touchscreen, multiple riding modes, smart features like proximity unlock and cruise control, and AI-powered functionalities.

The Roadster Pro is the flagship model, boasting a powerful 52 kW motor and 105 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 1.2 seconds and 0-60 kmph in 1.9 seconds, achieving a top speed of 194 kmph.

With a massive 16 kWh battery, it offers an impressive range of 579 km. The Roadster Pro includes a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, advanced suspension, and four riding modes.

Pricing and Availability

Reservations for the Roadster Series begin on August 15, 2024. The Roadster Pro will be available for delivery by Diwali next year, while the Roadster X and Roadster will start deliveries from January 2025.

Pricing for the Roadster Series starts at Rs 74,000 for the 2.5 kWh variant, with the 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh models priced at Rs 85,000 and Rs 99,000, respectively.

The Roadster model ranges from Rs 1.04 lakh to Rs 1.39 lakh depending on the battery variant.
