Upcoming Smartphones in October: Xiaomi 14 and Vivo Y200 Set to Debut Next Week

However, the rumor mill is abuzz with the possibility of some exciting smartphone releases next week, with both Xiaomi and Vivo potentially unveiling their latest offerings.

Vivo Y200: The Successor to Vivo Y100

Next week, Vivo is set to launch the Vivo Y200, the highly anticipated successor to the Vivo Y100. While the company has not made an official statement, several specifications have been leaked.

The smartphone is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen1 chipset and a robust 4800 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

Camera enthusiasts can look forward to a dual-camera setup, potentially with a unique Aura Light feature on the back panel, enhancing its design. The expected price for this device in India is approximately Rs 21,999.

Xiaomi 14 Series: The Leica Camera and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Powerhouse

Xiaomi is set to make a splash with the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series on October 27, initially in China.

The series is rumored to include the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, both featuring Leica cameras, including the Summilux lens.

The series is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, unveiled by the company on October 25.


The Xiaomi 14 is speculated to offer a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens featuring the OmniVision OV50H sensor. The vanilla model is set to debut with this configuration.

In contrast, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumored to feature the Sony IMX989 sensor, known for its impressive 1-inch sensor, as previously seen in Xiaomi 13. Both devices will run Xiaomi’s latest operating system, HyperOS.
