Top 5 Upcoming Car launches in October (Tata Harrier, Safari Facelift & more)

After witnessing a flurry of car launches in the Indian automotive market last September, October is poised to maintain the momentum with several new models slated for release.

These launches are expected to boost consumer sentiment during the festive season.

1. Citroen C3 Aircross

Citroen’s C3 Aircross, introduced in April this year, is yet to receive an official launch.

While the base variant’s prices were announced by the company last month, the prices for other C3 Aircross variants remain under wraps.

Deliveries are anticipated to commence on October 15, coinciding with the release of the complete lineup prices.

2. Nissan Magnite AMT, Kuro Edition

Nissan has teased the Kuro Edition of the Magnite a few weeks ago, confirming the inclusion of an AMT gearbox in this subcompact SUV.

The Kuro Edition presents a sportier appearance for the Magnite and is scheduled for launch on October 7.

Meanwhile, the AMT variant of the Magnite is set to hit the market on October 12.

3. Tata Harrier, Safari Facelift

Tata Motors recently unveiled teasers for the facelifted versions of the Harrier and Safari. These models will receive cosmetic updates to both their exteriors and interiors, along with the addition of some new features. The launch of these vehicles is expected to take place later this month.

The luxurious new Lexus LM MPV, built on the latest Toyota Vellfire platform, is anticipated to launch this month. It will be available in two configurations: 4-seater and 7-seater. The LM will be equipped with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder self-charging hybrid powertrain.

5. Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors has been conducting extensive tests on an all-electric version of the Punch for some time now.

While the end of October is a tentative launch date, there is hope that the car manufacturer may bring the upcoming Punch EV to the market. Similar to other Tata Motors EVs, it will utilize Ziptrom powertrain technology.
