Tata Motors has unveiled the sporty version of its premium hatchback, the Altroz Racer, with a starting price of Rs 9.49 lakhs.
This new model is available in three variants: R1, R2, and R3, priced at Rs 9,49,000, Rs 10,49,000, and Rs 10,99,000 respectively. Customers can choose from three color options: Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White.
Engine Performance
The Altroz Racer features a 1.2 L Turbo petrol engine that delivers 120Ps at 5500rpm and 170Nm of torque from 1750 to 4000 rpm, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The sporty design of the exterior and interior enhances its dynamic appeal.
Features
The Altroz Racer comes packed with additional features, making it the top-of-the-line variant of the Altroz series.
Key features include a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six airbags as standard.
Altroz Racer R1 Features
The R1 variant includes R16 alloy wheels, six airbags, leatherette seats, a 26.03 cm infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED DRLs, a rear armrest, rear wipers and wash, a sound system with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters, electrically adjustable and auto-fold ORVMs, cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat, rear AC vents, auto headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.
Altroz Racer R2 Features
The R2 variant adds an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, a 17.78 cm TFT digital cluster, steering-mounted controls, a 360-degree camera, and Xpress Cool over the R1 features.
Altroz Racer R3 Features
The R3 variant includes iRA-connected car technology, front ventilated seats, and an air purifier, in addition to the R2 features.
New Variants in the Altroz Lineup
To further enhance the Altroz lineup, Tata Motors has introduced two new variants: XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX, and upgraded one variant: XZ+OS.
These variants are available in petrol manual, petrol DCA, diesel, and CNG powertrains. The new XZ LUX variant is priced at Rs 8,99,900, XZ+S LUX at Rs 9,64,990, and the upgraded XZ+OS at Rs 9,98,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
