Smartphone brand POCO has quietly increased the prices of its popular 5G smartphones in India. The company has raised the prices of several variants in the POCO M8 and POCO X8 Pro series.
The updated prices are now visible on online shopping platforms like Flipkart. Customers planning to buy these phones will now have to pay up to ₹3,000 more than the launch price.
These smartphones are known for features like military-grade durability, powerful performance, and long battery backup, which made them popular among buyers.
POCO M8 Series Gets Biggest Price Hike
The POCO M8 series has received the biggest increase, especially on higher storage variants.
The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model was launched at ₹18,999. Its price has now gone up to ₹20,999, which means buyers will pay ₹2,000 extra.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB variant has become costlier by ₹3,000. Earlier available for ₹19,999, it now costs ₹22,999.
Similarly, the top-end 8GB + 256GB model has also become ₹3,000 more expensive. Its price has increased from ₹21,999 to ₹24,999.
POCO X8 Pro Series Also Becomes More Expensive
The company has also increased prices in the POCO X8 Pro lineup.
The 8GB + 256GB variant of the POCO X8 Pro was launched at ₹32,999, but it now costs ₹34,999. This is a direct increase of ₹2,000.
The 12GB + 256GB variant has also become ₹2,000 costlier. Its price has moved from ₹35,999 to ₹37,999.
POCO has also increased the prices of the POCO X8 Pro Max series. The 12GB + 256GB model, which earlier cost ₹42,999, is now priced at ₹44,999.
Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB variant has gone from ₹46,999 to ₹48,999. This model has also seen a ₹2,000 hike.
