MG Motor has made substantial price cuts to its popular Hector and Hector Plus SUVs, offering customers a more budget-friendly option.
Prices for the 5-seater mid-size SUV, the Hector, have been slashed by up to Rs 1.29 lakh, depending on the variant.
With seven available trim levels – Style, Shine, Smart, Smart EX, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro – the starting price for the Hector now stands at Rs 14.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
The top-end variant of the Hector is priced at Rs 21.93 lakh (ex-showroom).
The base variant, Style, sees a reduction of Rs 27,000, while the diesel manual variant of the Smart Pro trim gets the highest reduction of Rs 1.29 lakh among all Hector variants.

The company has also implemented price reductions for the Hector Plus, both the 6 and 7-seater variants, by up to Rs 1.37 lakh. The most significant reduction is observed in the 7-seater variant of the top-of-the-line Sharp Pro diesel trim.
The base 7-seater Smart Petrol variant of the Hector Plus sees a reduction of at least Rs 50,000. The new prices for the Hector Plus range from Rs 17.50 lakh to Rs 22.21 lakh.
