MG ZS EV Prices slashed by ₹2.3 Lakhs ahead of Festive Season

MG Motor India launched the ZS EV in the Indian market in 2020, and it quickly garnered a positive response from buyers.

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, MG Motor India has now reduced the prices of the ZS EV, making it more affordable just in time for the festive season.

The price cuts for the ZS EV range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2.3 lakh, making it a compelling choice in the electric SUV segment.

MG ZS EV Price :

MG ZS EV is available in three trim levels: Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro.

The base variant now starts at Rs 22.88 lakh, reflecting a price reduction of Rs 50,000.

The most substantial price cut, Rs 2.3 lakh, has been applied to the MG ZS EV Exclusive variant, bringing its ex-showroom price down to Rs 24.99 lakh.

The Exclusive Pro variant, equipped with advanced features, has seen a price reduction of Rs 2 lakh, making it available at Rs 25.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Both Exclusive and Exclusive Pro trims offer the iconic Ivory interior finish option.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS):

The MG ZS EV also boasts Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Level-2.

This technology package includes features such as a speed assist system, lane function, rear-drive assist, adaptive cruise control, and front collision warning.

MG stated in a press release that since its launch in India, the ZS EV has covered over 25 crore kilometers in total, collectively saving approximately 30 million kilograms in CO2 emissions.

Battery and Range:

Powering the MG ZS EV is a 50.3kWh battery pack and a front-axle mounted electric motor, delivering 174bhp and 280Nm of torque.

It claims an impressive range of 461 km on a single charge.

In the electric SUV segment, the ZS EV competes with models like the Hyundai Kona EV, Tata Nexon EV, and Mahindra XUV400, offering environmentally conscious buyers a more budget-friendly option.
