MG Motors has introduced its latest electric vehicle, the MG Windsor EV, in India.
Priced at an introductory rate of Rs 9.99 lakh, this is the company’s third electric car following the ZS EV and Comet EV.
The Windsor EV is MG’s first model to feature the new Battery as a Service (BaaS) program, which requires an additional payment of Rs 3.5 per kilometer for battery rental.
Bookings for the car will open on October 3, with deliveries starting from October 12, 2024.
The Windsor EV comes in three trim levels, four color options, and one powertrain configuration.
Exterior Highlights
The exterior of the MG Windsor EV features distinctive design elements, including a signature cowl and headlamps.
The car is equipped with 18-inch chrome alloy wheels, a floating roofline, and pop-out door handles.
Cabin Highlights
Inside, the Windsor EV boasts a well-designed cabin with quilted pattern seats.
It features a large 15.6-inch display for the infotainment system, which uses the same operating system as the Comet.
The rear seats can electrically recline up to 135 degrees and are equipped with a USB charging port, rear AC vents,
and a center armrest with cup holders. Additionally, there is a seatback screen for added convenience.

Powertrain
The MG Windsor EV is equipped with a 38kWh battery pack, providing a claimed range of 331 km.
The electric motor, which drives the front wheels, delivers 134bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The car offers four drive modes: Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport.
