Lava has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the new Virat Series, introducing the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1.
Both budget smartphones are aimed at users looking for a feature-packed device in the ₹10,000-₹12,000 price range.
The new phones come with a 120Hz display, Android 16, IP64 dust and water resistance, and large batteries. They will be available exclusively on Flipkart, with the first sale starting on July 31 at 12 PM.
Lava Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 Price
The Lava Virat V1 5G is available in a single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It has a special launch price of ₹11,999, while its regular price is ₹12,999.
The Lava Virat V1 is also offered in a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. It will be available at an introductory price of ₹8,999, after which the price will increase to ₹9,999.
The company has confirmed that the launch offer is valid only on the first day of the sale, allowing buyers to save ₹1,000.
Lava Virat V1 5G Specifications
The Lava Virat V1 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, gaming, and everyday use smoother.
It is powered by the UNISOC T8200 processor and comes with 4GB RAM, along with 4GB virtual RAM for a total of up to 8GB RAM.
The phone offers 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
For photography, the smartphone features a 13MP AI dual rear camera, while the front houses a 5MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
One of its biggest highlights is the 6,000mAh battery, which is designed to provide long-lasting backup. The phone runs on Android 16 and, according to Lava, comes with no ads or bloatware for a cleaner user experience.

The standard Lava Virat V1 also comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display, but it packs a 5,000mAh battery instead.
It is powered by the UNISOC SC9863A processor and includes 4GB RAM, 4GB virtual RAM, and 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The phone offers a 13MP AI dual rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and runs on Android 16. It will be available in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver color options.
IP64 Rating Adds Extra Protection
Both the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 come with an IP64 rating, which protects them against dust, light rain, and water splashes. However, the phones are not waterproof, so they should not be submerged in water.
