Lava Virat Curve 5G has been launched in India with a 3D curved AMOLED display, a 50MP Sony primary camera and a 6000mAh battery.
The new smartphone also features a mini display on the rear and comes with IP64 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The phone has been launched in a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Its regular price is Rs 23,999, while the introductory price during the first sale will be Rs 19,999 with applicable bank discounts.
Lava Virat Curve 5G Price and First Sale
The Lava Virat Curve 5G will be available in Ellora Slate, Heritage Indigo and Makrana Ivory colour options. Its first sale is scheduled to begin on September 28, 2026, through Flipkart.
The phone’s introductory price is lower than its listed price and will be available with bank discounts during the first sale. Customers should check the applicable offer terms at the time of purchase.
Lava Virat Curve 5G Display and Rear Mini Screen
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 2400×1080-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The curved panel gives the phone a different design compared with other models in the Virat series.
One of the phone’s standout features is its rear Mini Display, positioned near the camera module. It can show information such as the time, battery percentage, volume and notifications.
Users can also display custom text and emojis on the rear screen. This allows them to check certain information without turning on the main display.
Performance and Software Features
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor and comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also supports up to 6GB of virtual RAM.
The Lava Virat Curve 5G runs on Android 16. Lava has promised two years of operating system updates and three years of security updates for the smartphone.
For security, the phone supports an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.
50MP Sony Camera and 6000mAh Battery
For photography, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX752 primary camera with electronic image stabilisation. Camera features include Portrait, Slow Motion, Timelapse, Refocus, Motion Photo, Beauty, HDR, Night, AI, Panorama and QR Scanning.
A 13MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calls. The front camera also supports screen flash.
The smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. However, the box includes a 33W charger.
Lava claims up to 55 hours of talk time and up to 720 hours of standby time, while YouTube playback can reach up to 660 minutes on a single charge.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and USB Type-C. The phone also includes an IR blaster, gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
